Most Southern City at the World.

You need about four to six months to loop the 11 countries and 17.84millions square meter in South America.

We have crossed over almost 70% land in South America. The eight countries we have visited, include a flight to Rapa Nui ( Easter Island) in Pacific, it was rush but sometimes we spent two weeks just at a City. Three and the half months in total, including take a slow boat journey in Amazon.

Generally it safe there, beware your belonging at/around Bus terminal when you wanted to cross border. Our bad experiences mostly happened there. Spam exist as well.

We don’t speak Spanish, but it still ok. We learn there without any language lesson. Sometimes, we meet nice people translate for us.

Machu Picchu, Peru
The longest continental mountain range in the world, Andes and two ocean give South America many fantastic landscape like glaciers, desert, rich of cultures and Amazon forest.

The latitude start from equatorial until the end of the world which give you a stop before heading to South pole.

Many epic glaciers and snow cap mountain in South Argentina and Chile, Patagonia. National parks and trekking trails are incredible.


Desert area in Middle part of continent include Chile, Argentina, Bolivia, and Peru. Mystery Nasca line, oasis Huachachina, and the world highest salt flat, Salar de Uyuni also in this zone.

Cusco, Peru

Quechua people, the people of former Inca Empire live on the high land around Andes. It could find at Peru, Bolivia and Ecuador. It make the high land rich of cultures.

Amazon located the east of Andes. So call the living Museum of the biological at the world. The expensive excursion maybe not suitable for tight budget backpackers like us, but there is economy way to take slow boat to crossing the Amazon from either Ecuador, Peru or Colombia. Look around into river, you may see pink dolphins.

Pacific coast, Atlantic coast and Caribbean sea, all are surfing paradise.

Good and also cheap fruits you can find there. If you are coffee lover, don’t miss Colombia.
